Description
ONE OF A KIND ARTWORK FROM A REAL LEAF SKELETON
This is an actual leaf skeleton, made by beetles eating the inside parts of leaves and leaving the skeleton.
“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see” apples to these leaves. They lay there on the ground waiting to turn to mulch, unless someone like me walking my dogs along East Lake Rd. sees them and puts them into books, waiting for the right project.
5×7
Lots of time, love and work went into making this one of a kind piece of artwork out of a simple leaf.
The canvas is thin, it can be hung easily in a camper for a lightweight piece of art, put into a wood frame with or without glass, though it is completely sealed and doesn’t need glass. I’ve sealed many of these and once sealed they don’t tend to ruin over time. I have some as light switch plate covers where I touch and hit them all of the time and they stay put.
It is now in a frame that can be available with it.
PICK UP ONLY in this frame for a total of $60 (pay remaining $15 upon pickup- needs finishing, it is put together temporarily for either scenario)
This frame is not glass or wood, it is from a thrift store.
If you want this frame, Choose Pick up in Bear Rocks (no option to mail it in the frame currently only available as a flat canvas online.)
Decide upon pickup if that is the plan, recycled frame. Shows what it can look like, or you can take this one.
