My tree logo was drawn by hand and is now available on fabrics, stickers, metals, glass, wood, and other things I’ve experimented with, so currently the only things available are here locally with no real store front.
Craft shows have been a way to sell products but that is a very busy and chaotic for my type of products so far, as most of that involved selling greeting cards and artwork on canvas and prints, signs and a variety that is quite chaotic for me to gather up and do.
However it is a FANTASTIC way to meet other crafters and artists, and when you have long “purge” of ideas and making artwork, of sorts, you suddenly need a place to sell that and these local craft shows are great for that. In the Laurel Highlands, farm markets and craft shows pop up everywhere.
I set up a camper for storing things as well which I’ve opened on occasions to see all of the things I have made including signs, framed art and other things but long term storage in there of paper items isn’t the best. So that is evolving, but can be opened by appointment where everything can be displayed.
Selling online involves more mass production or print on demand which involves shipping, so that is being looked into. Waiting has led me to deciding that whatever I do sell to wear is 100% cotton or other natural and organic materials. Vintage items are often better than new so that is something I enjoy making, however then it needs to place to be sold. I’m just an artist, now trying to figure out where and how to sell the creations and share them.
Clothing styles available here as I find cool products, vintage stuff, or just great shirts that need something on them. Or whatever surfaces my art works best on, anything natural is good with me.
